Coming to take them away!! Ha Ha.There coming to take them away.!! Ha Ha

.There coming to take them away.!! Ha Ha   Sure they are,and if you believe that I know that the South will rise again and the Indian's are coming to get there lands back also. Every time somebody gets shot people start screaming "There coming to take the guns away". Listen to just how Fucked up you all sound.. The United states is not coming to take your guns or your ammo. The ATF has not the man power or funds to account for every gun in this country nor could they if they wanted to. And y'all have to admit there are a-lot of people who don't need even a BB gun let a loan a semi automatic military type rifle. And putting a new law into effect will not stop people from being crazy and doing stuff like the school shooting in Conn. There is already a law banning assault rifles here in the USA. A crazy person can do just as much damage with a shot-gun,hand gun(revolver or automatic) or a hunting rifle as was done with a semi automatic sports rifle. OK I know we have the 2nd amendment and in my view it needs to be reviewed and rewritten. We have a standing military and we do not need every one to have a fire arm to defend our country. Its not like Canada or Mexico is ready to invade us. I believe in Gun ownership. I have all my 51 years here on earth. I own hunting rifles ,shot guns, hand guns and I am a collector of Viet-Nam era military weapons. I as many American's love to hit the gun range and fire off a few rounds. Will I turn my guns in at a Buy back. No I will not!!
Would I register my weapons, have a psychological evaluation on record, allow a ballistics reference in a national registry and have a license to carry or purchase a fire arm and ammo. yes I would. but that would not stop gun related crime nor would it stop shootings like in that school Conn.  Arming teachers, placing police in schools, having fire fighters/ First responders wear flack vest and making area's gun free is only a feel good stop gap.
And looking to other country's and seeing how they solved gun violence problems is not solving ours nor will it. Once guns stop being a phallic symbol in our culture then laws banning types of guns will have a effect on crime.

Do you think you would you risk your life to save a stranger? Would it make a difference if it were an elderly person or a child? What about a neighbor's dog or cat?

I have ran into burning buildings, repealed down cliff sides, crawled threw windows of over turned cars on the verge of rolling off a mountain side all to save a life.It makes no difference if its a stranger , an elderly person ,a child or even the neighbor cat or dog. Its who I am and what I do. As a child I had the dream of being the one who drove that big red truck with the lights flashing and the siren waling, with the black and white spotted dog sitting by my-side. I respected that guy and he was my hero I wanted to be MR Fireman to the kids like me and I became him.

Its been awhile scene I've written here. I have been busy i could say but that's a lie. I could have written everyday a note or two as many do. I just did not take the time.  But tonight a friend of my wife noted something that made me think of just how life connects each of us. In the summer of 1969 in upstate new york Woodstock took place. My parents loaded up the old ford wagon ,hitched the tent camper on and away we went. it took us 3 days to get there from Indiana. And OMG was it a shock. what was billed as a Blue-grass fest to my Mom by my father was no were even close. Oh yes it was a grass fest but not bluegrass music...lol
I was seven and had a wonderful time there, playing with all kinds of kids from all over the US.
Blacks, Whites, Hispanic ,Native ,Asian and more it was a social mix never ever dreamed of.
We played in the mud and in the fields wile music played. people made love in the open and we just never noticed. we ran nude across the fields as my father watched the concerts and had his way with I'm sure many women as my mother set back at our camper and cooked and cussed all the things Woodstock came to be known for. I don't believe she ever forgave him for that week. But I'm thankful to him for it, I believe it had a lot to do with how I view life and sexuality today. Thanks debg for you post. Long live Rock and Roll and here's a Guinness raised to Nicky.

Spiritual Warrior who learns to let go

The Spiritual Warrior  learns to let go of the emotions that dictate consciousness, thereby letting go of victimhood.

The Spiritual Warrior works toward the advancement of the Spiritual self. By acting, not reacting, he or she affirms and strengthens the best in themselves, and, by doing so, reaps the abundance that this world can offer.

Becoming a Spiritual Warrior has nothing to do with violence. The positive qualities of a warrior are dedication, commitment and focus. The warrior's sense of mission enables him or her to maintain values and principles when confronted with great adversity. Warriors confidently make choices about where to focus internal attention, even when external realities appear to be chaotic, troublesome or threatening.

On saturday January 31 2009 David Delph of Lapel Indiana died in a Noblesvill IN hospital of skin cancer.
5 years after the deaths of his wife Robin and son Joshua. Both died  in 2004 in a fire at there home at 1307 west 2nd street in Anderson Indiana. David Delph was the chief suspect in the arson fire that took Robin and Joshua's life.

Firefighters were called to the family’s home on May 17, 2004, and found the building engulfed in flames. Firefighters found Robynn and Joshua unresponsive in Joshua's bedroom. The two were taken outside the home, but attempts to revive them were unsuccessful. They were pronounced dead at the scene, and it was later determined they died of smoke inhalation. Delph was able to escape the home.

Investigators alleged Delph killed his wife and son by burning down the home to collect $345,000 in insurance. They also raised allegations that the couple was having marital difficulties. Prosecutors charged him with arson and murder the next month.

Do to the failer of the local prosicuter and court system David walked free a little over one year later. Friends and family of Robin knew in there hearts that David killed her and his own son. Robin had been intouch with a lawyer in Anderson and was going to file papers for divorce with the courts. Robin had supported David for over 10 years and was tired of him sitting around doing nothing and it is believed she knew he was planning on leaving her and their son for a woman he had met online in washington state. Robin was a dear friend of mine and my wife. She babyset for my oldest son and Joshua and my son played togeather and were friends. Robin was Native American (cherokee) she and I had a special bond as we were both Native Americans and from the same clan in the Midwest Cherokee Alliance. She was very intouch with her heritage and was a spritual leader in the local native American community along with being a singer and dancer with a local Native American spritual group. Karma did what the courts failed to do on saturday by ending Davids life. malignant melanoma is a very painful way to die so is smoke inhalation. Karma it comes back around. I shed no tears for David tho at one time I thought of him as a close friend.

Its around 9;40 pm, Im just sitting here at my computer reading my mail and 5 shot ring out from infront of my home.
I rech into my gun safe and grab my 9mm hand gun then step out on to the porch. Ive been a Reserve Officer and a CO so i know how to use my hand gun and if there was something going on out front I do not want to be caught up in the middle of a gun fight without away to defend myself. I open the door and walk out the street is clear , no one outside and no cars on the street. Its winter and the streets are like glass, very slick. No way a car could drive off without being noticed. I did notice the across the street upper aptment window had someone looking out. I came back in and called the police dispatch they sent out several cars within ten minutes. They are checking the area and between some houses. I flagged one down and told him what I had heared. Thank APD for getting here in a timley manner.
